A truck with an HDS loader crane loads and unloads the goods itself. It suits construction sites, yards and private plots without a forklift or crane: building materials, containers, machinery and structural elements.

When is a crane truck useful?
HDS, the Polish term for a truck-mounted hydraulic crane, is a loader crane fitted to a truck. The operator lifts the load from the ground or a ramp, places it on the deck and, at the destination, sets it down where you need it within the reach of the boom, including over a fence or onto a platform.
Whether the crane can lift a load depends not only on its weight but also on its distance from the truck. The further the load must go, the lower the lifting capacity. So in your enquiry, give the weight of the items and the distance from where the truck can stand.
- Building materials on pallets and in bundles: blocks, paving, reinforcing steel, boards.
- Storage containers and other units to be placed on site.
- Machinery, equipment and structural elements where there is no crane.
With the crane truck, we deliver and place storage containers for rent. We carry bulk materials by tipper.

What to prepare for crane truck transport?
We plan crane unloading based on the weight, dimensions and conditions on site.
- Weight and dimensions
- Give the weight and dimensions of the heaviest and the largest item, plus the number of pieces or pallets.
- Placing distance
- Tell us how far from the truck the load must go and whether there are obstacles: a fence, trees, power lines.
- Ground and access
- A crane truck needs firm, level ground for its outriggers. Describe the access and the surface, especially on a construction site.
- Lifting points
- Say whether the load has lifting eyes or transport openings or needs to be lifted with slings.

What is HDS?
HDS is the Polish term for a hydraulic truck-mounted crane. It lets you load and unload goods without a forklift or a separate crane.
How much can a loader crane lift?
The capacity depends on the reach: the crane lifts most close to the truck and less at the end of the boom. Give the weight of the items and the distance from the truck, and we will check whether unloading is possible.
Can the crane unload goods over a fence?
Often yes, if the distance and weight are within the crane’s capacity and there are no obstacles above the work area, such as power lines. A photo of the unloading point helps.
Do you transport containers with a crane truck?
Yes. We can deliver a storage container and place it with the crane, if its weight and dimensions and the conditions on site allow.
Who operates the crane?
Operating a loader crane in Poland requires a qualification issued by the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT). Unloading is done by an operator who holds it.
